Manpower is a global leader in the employment and workforce preparation services industry. In this role, he leads his organization in the delivery of services helping clients win in the ever-changing world of work. Randy has vision and passion for the advancement of the industry and brings extensive experience related to labour market, human skills development, and workforce mobility issues. He has a special interest in workforce inclusion and development.
In addition to leading Manpower, Randy also serves as President of ACSESS (Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services). ACSESS is the national voice of the recruiting, employment, and staffing services industry, advancing best practices and ethical standards for the $22 billion Canadian staffing industry through advocacy, government relations, professional development, resources, and research. Randy is the Campaign Cabinet Chair for SAIT’s Real Futures Campaign. At SAIT, students don’t study the future — they shape it. This campaign focuses on creating space for innovators and disruptors who will challenge us to create more prospects for more people. SAIT trains the people who do the work to drive real change. But now, we’re going further — dramatically transforming how, who, and what we teach.
Focused on selecting the right candidates for the right roles, Randy spends time annually working with the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine’s Admission Committee, preparing and participating in the interview for candidates applying to medical school. This key and important work helps to shape the future of medicine and the leadership anticipated of future physicians. Randy is also the Chair of the Association of Manpower Franchise Owners. In this role, Randy ensures that all Franchises of Manpower across North America are properly prepared to thrive in changing economic conditions and labour market shifts. Working with the Ismaili Council for Canada, Randy is supporting the global movement of Afghan refugees (mostly now located in Pakistan).
Randy was born and raised in Alberta and has a passion for the work and lives of people in Alberta and Canada.
