Jonas Prising is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of ManpowerGroup, the global leader in workforce solutions. He leads the company's mission to connect millions of people to meaningful, sustainable work while helping organizations build the skills and talent they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Appointed CEO in 2014 and Chair in 2015, Jonas oversees ManpowerGroup's operations across more than 70 countries and territories, with approximately $19 billion in annual revenue and more than 400,000 employees worldwide.

Over more than 25 years with ManpowerGroup, Jonas has built a deeply international leadership career across North America, Europe, and the Americas. His roles have included President of ManpowerGroup North America and President of the Americas, as well as leading operations in Southern Europe and overseeing the company's global Right Management and ManpowerGroup Solutions businesses.

A recognized authority on the labor market and the future of work, Jonas is a frequent voice in global forums and international media. He regularly addresses how artificial intelligence, the green transition, and demographic change are redefining jobs and skills. Central to his leadership is a commitment to People First Transformation and to advancing human-centered approaches that drive inclusive and sustainable growth.

In January 2026, Jonas was elected by Seventh District member banks to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In this role, he brings real-time labor market and business insights to support effective governance and help inform policy deliberations within the Federal Reserve System.

Beyond ManpowerGroup, Jonas supports initiatives that expand opportunities and strengthen economic participation. He serves on the Board of Directors and is a former global Chair of JA Worldwide, one of the world's largest youth-serving NGOs, helping equip more than 17 million young people each year with employment and entrepreneurship skills across 100 countries.

Through the World Economic Forum, Jonas is a member of the International Business Council, the CEO Alliance for Climate Leaders, the CEO Action Group for the European Green Deal, and the Global Parity Alliance. He also serves as a CEO Champion for the Reskilling Revolution.

Jonas is actively engaged in the Milwaukee business community as a Board member and former Chair of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS).

Before joining ManpowerGroup, Jonas worked for Electrolux, the Swedish multinational, where he held a range of international leadership roles across consumer goods and business-to-business divisions. He holds an MBA equivalent from the Stockholm School of Economics and has completed executive programs at Harvard, INSEAD, Stanford, and Yale.

Fluent in five languages—English, French, German, Swedish, and Italian—Jonas has lived in nine countries across Asia, Europe, and North America. He and his family reside in the Milwaukee area.
